
From a youthful age, Su-Jeong NAM's frail vision constrained her to prepare herself to see questions in an unexpected way. Presently, rather than taking a gander at a blossom and seeing a bloom, she sees the lines that make up the bloom — not only the framework or the lines that may be obvious at first glance, yet lines down to the cell level. It's this portrayal of the incalculable lines that make up our reality, but which a great many people can't see, that makes this work novel. The craftsman, who got her BFA from the Busan National University in South Korea, says she trusts her sketches give individuals a sentiment good faith through her canvases' brilliant, crisp shading and frame.
